I’ve found a few perfect beach-boat-cruise must-have items! Yup, I’ve gone shopping for you. Well, actually there wasn’t much shopping involved as these are things I either already have or know about and love. Everything you need to enjoy your time during your hard-earned break! Don’t worry about finding these items on your own – these are all available on Amazon and delivered to your doorstep in time to step out in style!
First of all, you must have the perfect beach/tote bag. I love big and I love pockets. I hate to dig around in my bag for my stuff! This bag holds everything you need in a space where you can actually find it. It’s my favorite:
I was recently at a resort in the Bahamas and they were selling the most adorable hats! Women looked fabulous wearing them and they provided the perfect shade! Aren’t they cute? They also look great in beach photos. I found them online – cheaper – when I got home. You can get yours here:
The next item is one I can’t say enough about – truly the best sun screen you will ever use. It works. It feels great – not greasy or plastic-y. It’s SUN BUM and it’s addictive. It’s not cheap, but great products usually aren’t. They have an entire line of products including an awesome chapstick. My son introduced me to Sun Bum a few years ago when it was new to the market. He was working at a large resort and met one of the company sales reps who told him it was the next big thing. He was right.
This next little item? Well, it’s just fun! It floats, it holds your drink upright in sand, grass (and yes, even in snow!) and it’s shatter-proof. It’s dishwasher-safe. It can hold any drink, but I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty perfect for wine!
You also need a great pair of flip-flops. I no longer wear flat, no-support pieces of rubber on my feet. I want comfort. I also want them to look nice. The perfect flip-flop for me? One that has arch support. I can actually walk in them and be comfortable. In fact, I have walked long distances in them. Oh, and they’re kinda cute. I’ve owned three pair of these over the last ten years. I love ‘em!
